I heard this on George Nory's show this morning. Frosty Woolridge was on talking about over population in the United States, due in part of immigration into this country, and the impact and strain over population has on the environment. He then spoke of a giant garbage patch floating in the Pacific. This garbage patch, most comprised on floating plastic is the size of Texas and is 46 feet deep. There are other floating garbage patches in other oceans around the planet. Title click to be taken to a website about the Pacific garbage patch.
