SOTOMAYER DEBATE DIVERTS FROM ONGOING GREEN SOCIALIST AGENDA

While pundits and conservative politicians wring their hands about Sonia Sotomayer's pending confirmation hearings for a seat on the Supreme Court, other agendas seeking further diminished personal freedoms surge ahead. If you wonder how SMART GRID technology will impact your daily life, think of it like this.

You will only be allowed to run your coffee maker for 45 minutes a day in the morning.

You can't start your air conditioner or swamp cooler until the temp outside reaches 95 degrees and then only for three hours.

Limit your time on the computer at home to four hours a day. Remember, you're being monitored.

Your use of an automobile will be limited also. Taking your vehicle across state lines will require swiping a SMART GRID card through a magnetic card reader telling the fedgov where you started out from, where you're going, what kind of vehicle you drive and how much energy you consumed on your self-indulgent trip.

IF you live within a WORLD HERITAGE SITE Buffer Zone, there will be NO DRIVE times in your city...9AM-11AM...no cars on the streets that absolutely don't have to be on the road...take the bus.

T.V. in every room?...SMART GRID will tell the fedgov who will scold you and admonish you to obey the SMART GRID recommendation that families only have one T.V. per household and that boob tube can only be used for a limited number of hours a day.

You love your double-door, energy saving refrigerator...yep...but according to SMART GRID your ice maker laden ice box is too big and you should be eating at least two uncooked meals a day...save energy by not cooking in the morning or evening or whatever.

Hair dryers...forget about it...towel that doo and comb it out baby.

DVD movie rentals...nope...big waste of energy driving to and from the DVD rental store and even more energy waste watching it at home, nuking some popcorn, opening the fridge for a beer or soda...you get the picture.

Microwaves...back off jack...you can only use your microwave for a total of 7 minutes a day.

Alcohol consumption big on your list...driving to buy beer, wine or booze wastes energy, cooling it in the fridge wastes energy, disposing of cans or bottles not recycled wastes energy...face it...copping a buzz during the Super Bowl contributes to climate change.

Major sporting events...forget about your season tickets...you will only be allowed to attend four Bronco games a season, or basketball, baseball. Remember that magnetic card you swiped at the state line for the SMART GRID police...you'll have to swipe it at the entrance to the parking lot. AND you can't watch the game at home because you've already used up your alloted T.V. time...all thanks to SMART GRID.

No family vacations this year...you'll use up your alloted drive time and miles in your personal vehicle. Take the kids to the community re-education center, courtesy of ACORN or whatever flavor of the month communist organization this president subsidizes with your tax dollars.

Forget about flying across country for business or pleasure...plane tickets and the airline industry will be taxed into oblivion.

Replace your backyard grilled steak with a tofu burger. The cattle industry will be
regulated out of existence as energy inefficient and a major contributor to climate change. (Raw almonds are an excellent side dish to tofu burgers).

Need a major life saving operation? SMART GRID infiltrated the national health care plan. Your major life saving operation uses too much energy. Got your will in order?
