Uncle Sam

The Oath of the President of the United States

US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The case could be made that Obama has violated the oath of the office of the Presidency of the United States in not closing the borders at the threat of a global pandemic of the Mexican flu, the violations of the U.S. Constitution in the CIFTA, and his refusal to clarify the circumstances of his birth. Think about it.

Smell the Roses - NOT!

Catastrophic global warming, Anthropogenic global warming - the latest victims are our flowers. This article is unbelievable. Now we are to accept genetically modified flowers because global warming is killing their fragrance:

Flowers losing scent due to climate change

Mon, Mar 22, 2010
New Straits Times

KUALA LUMPUR: A rose may stop smelling like a rose.

This is the concern of environmentalists as flowers are losing their scent due to climate change and air pollution. And their fragrance may be lost forever.

Science and Technology Professor Emeritus at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Dr Abdul Latif Mohamad, said genetically modified flowers might be the way out.

Climate change is also the reason Kuala Lumpur City Hall is increasingly turning to shady trees, because flowers which previously formed the centrepiece of its beautification programme have been wilting fast.

Datuk Bandar Datuk Ahmad Fuad Ismail said City Hall used to spend RM1.5 million ($635,100) a month to plant and maintain flowers in the city, but the contractor's services were terminated in March last year.

City Hall has taken over the planting, opting for bou-gainvillea and the tropical shrubs, Ixora, for their durability and cheaper cost.

Under the previous arrangement, some of the small flowers cost RM3.50 per seedling.

"It was getting too costly to beautify the city. Flowers were dying fast," he said, adding that City Hall would continue to plant shady trees more suited for soaking up the increasing pollution and coping with global warming.

Latif said UKM might have offered plausible reasons as to why some pollinators were not spreading flower seeds, a pattern caused by the missing "scent trail" with scent tissues burning easily due to global warming.

"The aroma producing chemical compounds in flowers dry up faster now compared with before."

The only way out, he said, was to genetically modify the flowers so that the effects would not be permanent and the future generation would not be robbed of nature's beauty.

"The act is almost like producing essential oils. Scientists add on certain chemicals for stronger scent."

He said scents in flowers last longer in colder climate as plants can hold on to their essential oils longer.

"The flowers may still have strong scents in colder climate. But locally, we fear this might be lost forever."

With flowers emitting lesser scent, the insects and butterflies are travelling further and longer to get a share of nectar.

Latif said birds and insects were heading towards hilly areas and deeper into the jungles where the weather is cooler.

He related an incident in Sungai Siput, Perak, where the farmers failed to get fruits from their orchards.

Upon investigation, Latif's team discovered that the flowers were no longer pollinating after dust from a hill blast blocked the growth of stigmas.

He said Malaysians could no longer rely on nature to heal itself without the help of science.

He said Malaysia needed to follow in the footsteps of Japan, Europe, the United States, China and South Korea which have invested millions in the research of genetically modified seeds.

Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) director-general Datuk Dr Abdul Latif Mahmod said recently the extreme weather change might affect the life span of trees as a result of lighter or heavier rain.

"We should look at how trees can be mutated so that they will not be destroyed."

He said experts, including from FRIM, should look at ways to prolong the lifespan of certain plants.

Meanwhile, Natural Resources and Environment Deputy Minister Tan Sri Joseph Kurup said given the extreme climate changes, every country should work together and not in isolation.

He said the decline in global biodiversity and ecosystem services urgently called for proactive measures.

"Both policy-makers and researchers need to work hand in hand to strengthen forest genetics, breeding and conservation."

Health Care: Cue Up the Legal Fights

Florida says several states to file healthcare lawsuit

Mon Mar 22, 2010 11:01am EDT

MIAMI, March 22 (Reuters) - Florida's attorney general will file a lawsuit with nine other state attorneys general opposing the healthcare legislation passed by Congress, a spokeswoman said on Monday.

"The health care reform legislation passed by the U.S. House of Representatives last night clearly violates the U.S. Constitution and infringes on each state's sovereignty," Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, a Republican, said in a prepared statement announcing a news conference.

"On behalf of the State of Florida and of the Attorneys General from South Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, Utah, Pennsylvania, Washington, North Dakota, South Dakota and Alabama if the President signs this bill into law, we will file a lawsuit to protect the rights and the interests of American citizens." UPDATE 1-Virginia to sue U.S. over healthcare reform

* AG: Congress lacks power to force insurance purchases

NEW YORK, March 22 (Reuters) - Virginia's attorney general said he plans to sue the federal government over the healthcare reform legislation, saying Congress lacks authority to force people to buy health insurance.

Attorney General Kenneth Cuccinelli, a Republican, said on Monday that Congress lacks authority under its constitutional power to regulate interstate commerce to force people to buy insurance. He said the bill also conflicts with a state law that says Virginians cannot be required to buy insurance.

"If a person decides not to buy health insurance, that person by definition is not engaging in commerce," Cuccinelli said in recorded comments. "If you are not engaging in commerce, how can the federal government regulate you?"

Cuccinelli said he plans to file his lawsuit in federal court in Richmond, Virginia, after President Barack Obama signs the bill into law, which he is expected to do.

The bill requires most Americans to have health coverage, and provides subsidies to help lower-income workers afford it. [ID:nLDE62L01U]

Green Global Dictatorship: Regional Governance, UN Agenda 21, Sustainable Development, and the Wildlands Project Dr. Eric T. Karlstrom, Professor of

Here's how it works. Dr. Karlstrom has done an excellent job explaining how the UNITED NATIONS & NGOs work together to incrementally diminish U.S. sovereignty and have us all living under U.N. global dominance. Title click to read entire article on WATER WATCH ALLIANCE.

From Dr. Karlstrom's excellent article:

In “The Greening of America Part 1- How Did It Happen?” (, Dr. Michael Coffman (Ph.D. forester), notes that the “Greening of America” with its attendant conversion to Regional Governance, U.N. Agenda 21 (Agenda for the 21st Century), and Sustainable Development, began with the creation of the United Nations in 1945. In 1946, the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) was formed as the primary scientific adviser to the UN on environmental issues. It was founded by Julien Huxley, who was also a founder of UNESCO- United Nations Education, Scientfic and Cultural Organization. Members of the IUCN today include over 880 governmental agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) in 133 countries. In the U.S., IUCN members include the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. National Park Service, and U.S. Forest Service. Other IUCN members are the U.N. Environmental Program (UNEP), the UN Development Program (UNDP), UNESCO, as well as a host of NGOs, including the Sierra Club, The Nature Conservancy (TNC), National Wildlife Federation, National Audubon Society, Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), and the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF). Two other major international environmental organizations were later created to also serve as advisers to the UN: the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) and the World Resources Institute (WRI). Figure 1 (below) illustrates how federal agencies today cooperate with environmental groups to implement strategies devised by the United Nations in concert with the IUCN, WWF, and WRI. Coffman notes that almost every strategy implemented during the past 30 years (1978 to 2008) has originated with this “unholy alliance.”

"America is sitting on top of a super massive 200 billion barrel Oil Field that could potentially make America Energy Independent and until now has largely gone unnoticed. Thanks to new technology the Bakken Formation in North Dakota could boost America’s Oil reserves by an incredible 10 times, giving western economies the trump card against OPEC’s short squeeze on oil supply and making Iranian and Venezuelan threats of disrupted supply irrelevant."

CFP: Albert Gore and the Global Warming Ponzi Scheme

Title click to read article on Canadian Free Press website.

From the article:

"Al Gore is by far the most visible beneficiary of the global warming ponzi scheme. As a climate-change fear-monger, Gore has banked millions in book sales, speaking fees and DVD royalties. His pseudoscience flick, “An Inconvenient Truth,” won an Academy Award for best documentary, not to mention 21 other film awards. He was also the co-recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his “efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change.” Note that word, “efforts”. It seems that liberals can get awards for simply trying, not achieving."

"Former Vice President Al Gore has built a Green money-making machine capable of eventually generating billions of dollars for investors, including himself, but he set it up so that the average Joe can’t afford to play on Gore’s terms. And the US portion is headed up by a former Gore staffer and fund raiser who previously ran afoul of both the FEC and the DOJ, before Janet Reno jumped in and shut down an investigation during the Clinton years."

Link to google document containing information on the global warming scam.

Anthropogenic global warming has been exposed as a fraud. Don't mince words on this international scam. The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has admitted it skewed the data. Scientists who once advocated for global warming have flipped and admitted the whole scam was for political power and huge payouts. The fraud and lie of global warming is being taught in our schools. Heavy-handed environmental regulations, conceived by the IPCC and adopted by its demented cousin, the EPA, have impacted Otero County...negatively! Get behind this proposed ordinance and show the Otero County Commissioners the Citizens of Otero County want the Anthropogenic Global Warming ordinance passed!

Shelter for school children built at school bus stop on rural road in Cantron County.
Shelter was built after wolves were observed stalking children walking on rural roads.

Title click to read article in the DENVER POST.

Some quotes from the article:

"Wolf advocates say wolves will improve the state's ecological balance and even its economy: Visitors flock to Yellowstone National Park to try to spot the animals."

"That fear of wolves is most apparent in one southern New Mexico county where local officials have built cages at bus stops for children to wait in if wolves are spotted in the area.
But Wendy Keefover-Ring with WildEarth Guardian said those type of reactions are an example of over-the-top, anti-wolf factions trying to make wolves look bad."

"WildEarth is urging Coloradans to "celebrate their (the wolves') return to their ancestral homeland."
"Let's bring out the welcome mat," reads a form letter the group is urging wolf advocates to send to Gov. Bill Ritter."
