Oryx photo above on blog main page. Thanks to R L for passing this on and thanks to Twyla for keeping her head and getting documentation.
Dear everyone,
At about 8:30 this morning (Sunday morning) Daddy came to my door and told us to go towards Lessie and Irving’s house. He saw an Oryx out there. We jumped in the van headed that way. Sure nuff, there it stood. We stopped a good distance away and took pictures. We went on forward and it charged the van, hitting the back bumper. We turned around to come back home and it charged again. Fortunately, it didn’t didn’t do any damage the first time and missed us the second time.
I do not know what happened, but it was discovered about 10:00 AM dead. It apparently hit someone and came to an untimely death.
As far as I know, this is the first time one has been here at Pinon.
Thought I would share the pictures.
Twyla
