First Lady Laura Bush is urging the government of Myanmar to allow a U.S. disaster team into the country to aid in areas devastated by a massive cyclone. Last year ORF linked to a story about the Myanmar military murdering, raping, and removing villagers to accommodate a World Heritage Site in that country. Laura Bush was silent, as was the U.N., during this purge of humanity. Now the First Lady wants to put U.S. disaster relief teams in that country to help the victims of an act of nature.
