The Trilateral Commission—one of the three most powerful globalist groups in the world—held closed-door meetings right here in Washington, D.C. from April 25 to 28. True to form, those members of the media who knew about the meeting—or were themselves participants in the proceedings—refused to discuss what went on inside or report on the attendees. Luckily, American Free Press' own editor, Jim Tucker, was on the scene to bust this clandestine confabulation wide open.
Luminaries at the Trilateral Commission meeting in Washington expressed confidence that they own all three major presidential candidates, who, despite political posturing, will support sovereignty-surrendering measures such as NAFTA and the “ North American Union.”
“John has always supported free trade, even while campaigning before union leaders,” said one. “Hil and Barack are pretending to be unhappy about some things, but that’s merely political posturing. They’re solidly in support.”
He was referring to Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) and Barack Obama (D-Ill.).
Mrs. Clinton, they noted, held strategy sessions as first lady on how to get Congress to approve NAFTA “without changes.” As president, they agreed, she would do no more than “dot an i or cross a t.”
Candidate Obama has not denied news reports in Canada that his top economic adviser, Austan Goolsbee, assured Canadian diplomats that the senator would keep NAFTA intact and his anti-trade talk is just “campaign rhetoric.”
PETRIFIED ABOUT PAUL
While they are confident they can deal with any “potential president,” the Trilateralists paid huge tribute to Ron Paul in an equally large twist of irony, by expressing alarm that he is causing “significant future damage.”
They expressed concern that Paul’s rallies have attracted multitudes of young people who are getting “their political education.” They want Republicans to pressure Paul to drop out now and stop his education rallies. This assignment was given to Thomas Foley, former U.S. House speaker.
The reasons Paul’s “education campaign” strikes fear into Trilateral hearts are obvious. Paul would refuse to surrender an ounce of U.S. sovereignty to an international organization and TC wants world government.
Paul would immediately bring U.S. troops home from Iraq, Afghanistan and from 130 UN “peacekeeping” missions around the globe. TC wants to enjoy war profiteering and global power. Paul would abolish the federal income tax while the TC wants to pile on a global tax payable to the UN.
The formal agenda was loaded with everything Paul and American patriots detest: higher taxes, more foreign giveaways, more immigration, both legal and illegal, into the United States and “engaging Iran,” among others.
AMERICA NEEDS TO PAY HER FAIR SHARE?
The Trilaterals got down to real work on Saturday, April 26, with a high-powered panel called “U.S. Foreign and Domestic Policy: Broad Outlines for a New Administration.”
It was presided over by journalistic pimp David Gergen, who will write nothing about TC in his magazine, U.S News and World Report. Also participating were Kenneth Duberstein, former White House chief of staff for President Ronald Reagan; Strobe Talbot, president of the Brookings Institution and former deputy secretary of state; and Joseph Nye, former assistant secretary of defense. Henry Kissinger, former secretary of state and long-time Bilderberg leader, was present and listed as a participant. But a TC staff member crossed his name out. Some speculated he had throat problems.
This panel had these orders for the next president: increase foreign aid across the board because “America does not pay its fair share,” pay up the arrears in UN dues, allow as many immigrants into the United States as want to come and provide “amnesty” for illegal aliens already here.
Little, if anything, was said about the fact that American taxpayers pay one-fourth of the UN’s operating costs and one-third of the cost of 130 “peacekeeping missions” or the fact that immigrants from South America depress wages here and the average immigrant family costs the government thousands of dollars a year in welfare, health and other “benefits.”

Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism
Prevention Act of 2007
As ordered reported by the House Committee on Homeland Security on August 1, 2007
H.R. 1955 would direct the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to establish a
university-based Center of Excellence for the Study of Violent Radicalization and
Homegrown Terrorism in the United States. The bill also would establish a commission to
investigate the causes of terrorist acts committed by persons raised or living in the United
States and would require DHS to prepare reports on certain issues relating to domestic
terrorism. CBO estimates that implementing H.R. 1955 would cost $22 million over the
2008-2012 period, assuming appropriation of the necessary amounts. Enacting H.R. 1955
would not affect direct spending or revenues.

NASA scientists are about to publish conclusive studies showing abundant methane of a non-biologic nature is found on Saturn's giant moon Titan, a finding that validates a new book's contention that oil is not a fossil fuel.
"We have determined that Titan's methane is not of biologic origin," reports Hasso Niemann of the Goddard Space Flight Center, a principal NASA investigator responsible for the Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer aboard the Cassini-Huygens probe that landed on Titan Jan. 14.
Niemann concludes the methane "must be replenished by geologic processes on Titan, perhaps venting from a supply in the interior that could have been trapped there as the moon formed."
The studies announced by NASA yesterday will be reported in the Dec. 8 issue of the scientific journal Nature.
"This finding confirms one of the key arguments in 'Black Gold Stranglehold: The Myth of Scarcity and the Politics of Oil,'" claims co-author Jerome R. Corsi. "We argue that oil and natural gas are abiotic products, not 'fossil fuels' that are biologically created by the debris of dead dinosaurs and ancient forests."
Methane has been synthetically created in the laboratory, Corsi points out, "and now NASA confirms that abiotic methane is abundantly found on Titan."
The realization that hydrocarbons are produced inorganically throughout our solar system was a key insight that led Cornell University astronomer Thomas Gold to write his 1998 book, "The Deep Hot Biosphere: The Myth of Fossil Fuels." Gold wrote:
It would be surprising indeed if the earth had obtained its hydrocarbons only from a source that biology had taken from another carbon-bearing gas – carbon dioxide – which would have been collected from the atmosphere by photo-synthesizing organisms for manufacture into carbohydrates and then somehow reworked by geology into hydrocarbons. All this, while the planetary bodies bereft of surface life would have received their hydrocarbon gifts by purely abiogenic causes.
Gold wryly noted that he was sure there had not been any "big stagnant swamps on Titan" to produce the biological debris that conventionally trained geologists think was required on Earth to produce oil and natural gas as a "fossil fuel."
"If petroleum and natural gas are abiotic as we maintain in 'Black Gold Stranglehold,'" Corsi commented, "then the 'peak oil' fear that we are going to run out of oil may have been based on a giant misconception."
Paradigms in science change slowly and with great resistance, he noted, "But NASA has given us today incontrovertible evidence that Titan has abundant inorganic methane."
"If the scientists have ruled out that biological processes created methane on Titan, why do petro-geologists still argue that natural gas on Earth is of biological origin?" Corsi asked.

What are the fuel costs for transporting the Diva from nation to nation while she's on tour? What about fuel consumed by fans who attend her shows?
The same questions can be asked about the Democrat National Convention this August in Denver. Democrats plug the DNC as the first' green' convention in history. Dem's also claim this will be the largest political party convention ever held in the United States. Considering the high cost of fuel, the allegations of 'climate change' and the national guilt trip and market in carbon offsets the question is obvious; why even hold a convention? Millions of Hillary and Obama fans could all attend a cyber-convention on the Internet, eliminating fuel and environmental impact from the equation. DNC protest organizers estimate another 50,000 - 100,000 people will be traveling across the nation to Denver to the event. The same groups who scream bloody murder about drilling for domestic oil in ANWAR and in the United States will be burning expensive fuel to attend the convention. These socially conscious and 'green' advocates will be using more fuel and adding more carbon particulates to the environment. I'm guessing the need to be heard and seen outweighs the high cost of fuel and pollution. The most vocal proponents for pop equality and social awareness, along with the green agenda can't seem to balance the same social priorities and 'green sins' they allege the rest of America is guilty of. What we will see in Denver in August is a festival attended by the liberal political elite living in indulgence and hypocrisy for the good of the world.

Denali National Park has a buffer zone around the park for the benefit of grey wolves because they go outside the park in winter in search of caribou, sheep and moose. Does Denali need a buffer zone around the buffer zone to prevent the LEGAL trapping of wolves? How big an area should that be?

DENVER PD TO USE 'BEAM GUN' TO QUELL PROTESTS AT DNC
I've been listening to Peter Boyles in the morning on his radio talkshow on Denver's KHOW 630AM. He's featured protest organizers of groups planning to attend the DNC. One of the things the organizers are worried about is the 'beam-gun'. Protest leaders claim the Denver PD have a beam-gun to use for crowd dispersal. The beam-gun is actually the Active Denial System. The MVD guy told Mike there is a new policy of punching holes in the corner of a German drivers license, when the German national obtains a New Mexico drivers license. The reason for this new policy is to more accurately acquire information on the German national.
NMMVD reasons the German DL's don't have the drivers record available to law enforcement and insurance companies, when the German DL is run for prior traffic violations or infractions.
Today, May 7th, I received this email from the German Consolant:
Dear Mr Woodhull: Thank you for your request of April 24th, 2008 concerning the "destruction" of a German driver's license.There is no international treaty law which is applicable to your case but under customary international law this action of the NM DMV seems to be questionable. A German driver's licence is an official certificate which is in the property of the responsible German authority so that it can only be invalidated by the responsible German authority.For all practical purposes we recommend you to apply for a new German passport with a reference to the policy of NM DMV. Bustamante May Be Leading, But Networks Stay Focused on Arnold’s Raunchy Magazine Comments
Cruising Past Cruz’s Racial Controversies
When then-Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott disastrously touted the segregationist presidential candidacy of Strom Thurmond, the media frenzy started slowly, then erupted until the GOP dumped Lott from the leadership. Newsweek reporter Martha Brant conceded the media’s ardor on CNBC: “We're now, in the media, going to give this thing steam. The Democrats may not even need to fan the flames of this.”
Since mid-August, network TV reporters have been touting the leader-of-the-pack status of Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante in the California recall, but ABC, CBS, and NBC have shown no interest in the front-runner’s racial controversies:
• At a February 9, 2001 speech to the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, Bustamante said “n-gg-r” when he said he meant to say “Negro” in the title of a black labor organization. None of the Big Three has mentioned that slur during their coverage of this year’s recall.
• As a student at Fresno State University in the 1970s, Bustamante was an active member of MEChA, the Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan whose symbol is an eagle clutching a dynamite stick and a machete-like weapon in its claws. Their motto: “For the Race, everything. For those outside the Race, nothing.” The group believes in reclaiming the mythical land of Aztlan, or most of the southwestern United States, for the “bronze race.”
Coverage? Neither ABC nor NBC have mentioned Bustamante’s MEChA ties, even though both interviewed him at length. When CBS’s Bob Schieffer and Los Angeles Times reporter Doyle McManus grilled Bustamante on the August 31 Face the Nation, they also skipped MEChA, inviting him instead to pile on second-place GOP candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger for his raunchy comments in a 1977 issue of the pornographic magazine Oui.
CBS’s Hattie Kauffman was the only network reporter to raise the issue, when she questioned Bustamante on the September 3 Early Show. After mentioning Schwarzenegger’s 26-year-old Oui interview, Kauffman added: “There are ghosts in Bustamante’s past as well. He was once a member of a radical group called MEChA. This was a Chicano student group that advocated a separate nation for Mexicans in the American Southwest. Did you know that when you joined?”
Bustamante did not disavow the group: “There were a lot of student protest groups in the ‘60s. It was about running for student government and trying to become part of the main-stream of California.” Kauffman insisted: “It doesn’t sound like the mainstream of California, if they’re talking about a separate nation.” Bustamante said: “Well, I know. I surely don’t believe in some kind of racial separatist thing.”
It’s too bad CBS could only manage a brief exchange. They could have brought viewers up to date on MEChA activities in the Golden State:
• In May 1995, the MEChA newspaper at UC-San Diego published an editorial on the death of a Latino INS agent: “He deserved to die...All the Migra pigs should be killed, every single one.”
• In November 1998, a statewide MEChA student conference at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo welcomed more than 1,000 students with a program that said “Welcome to Cal Poly State Jewniversity” and a reference to “Jew York.” (After protest from the Anti-Defamation League, the campus MEChA chapter threw out the students responsible.)
• On March 8, 2002, FNC’s Bill O’Reilly asked the state MEChA chair Ron Gochez about whether the group wanted American territory back. Gochez said: “We understand that we all sit on stolen land...Mexicano land, stolen from us.” When O’Reilly whimsically offered Arizona, Gochez groused: “They took a lot more than Arizona.”

In related news, McCain announced today that he will address La Raza, a liberal-leaning Latino group, in July. Politico's Jonathan Martin suggests that McCain is "trying to show that he's not George W. Bush by going into the lion's den and taking hostile, unscripted questions from adversarial groups." The McCain campaign says the candidate is scheduling the stop "as part of his commitment to talking with all Americans."
FIRST LADY BUSH URGES MYANMAR TO ACCEPT U.S. AID
First Lady Laura Bush is urging the government of Myanmar to allow a U.S. disaster team into the country to aid in areas devastated by a massive cyclone. Last year ORF linked to a story about the Myanmar military murdering, raping, and removing villagers to accommodate a World Heritage Site in that country. Laura Bush was silent, as was the U.N., during this purge of humanity. Now the First Lady wants to put U.S. disaster relief teams in that country to help the victims of an act of nature. Three-mile structure in Baghdad is a disputed part of security plan

BAGHDAD — U.S. soldiers with the 82nd Airborne Division in a Baghdad district are “building a three-mile protective wall on the dividing line between a Sunni enclave and the surrounding Shiite neighborhood,” according to a U.S. military press release issued Wednesday.
Troops with the 407th Brigade Support Battalion began constructing the wall on April 10 and will continue work “almost nightly until the wall is complete,” the release read.
“The area the wall will protect is the largest predominately Sunni neighborhood in East Baghdad. Majority-Shiite neighborhoods surround it on three sides. Like other religiously divided regions in the city, the area has been trapped in a spiral of sectarian violence and retaliation,” according to the release.
In January, when the new Baghdad security plan and troop “surge” were announced, the “gated community” concept was reported by several news agencies as one tactic to be used.
But after a regularly scheduled news briefing in Baghdad on Wednesday, Maj. Gen. William B. Caldwell IV, the top spokesman for coalition forces in Iraq, said he was unaware of efforts to build a wall dividing Shiite and Sunni enclaves in Baghdad and said that such a tactic was not a policy of the Baghdad security plan.
“We have no intent to build gated communities in Baghdad,” Caldwell said Wednesday.
“Our goal is to unify Baghdad, not subdivide it into separate [enclaves].”
The subject of walling-off city districts has been a popular one among some ground troops now manning small combat outposts within city neighborhoods. Recently, commanders attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, said they were investigating the possibility of constructing a security wall around a once-bustling industrial zone in New Baghdad, on the city’s east side. The wall, they said, would help them secure the area and aid in the revitalization of factories and industrial plants there.
However, Caldwell said that the Baghdad plan never envisioned large scale divisions of city districts. At most, he said, barriers would be used to protect city markets that might otherwise fall prey to suicide bombers, or to block off streets during specific operations. In this latter case, Caldwell said the barriers were removed after the completion of each mission.
“We have been going into neighborhoods and sealing off certain exit and entrance points during initial sweeps,” Caldwell said. “Those were temporary measures.”
Caldwell, however, said that U.S. and Iraqi forces would continue to erect permanent barriers around city marketplaces. So far, he said, coalition forces had erected more than 3,000 individual sections of concrete blast walls throughout the city since the plan went into effect two months ago. These barriers included both Jersey barriers — short concrete dividers commonly seen on roadways in the United States — and larger 20-foot blast walls that commonly surround bases and living areas.
According to Wednesday’s news release from Multi-National Corps-Iraq, “the wall [in Adhamiyah] is one of the centerpieces of a new strategy by coalition and Iraqi forces to break the cycle of sectarian violence. Planners hope the creation of the wall will help restore law and order by providing a way to screen people entering and exiting the neighborhood — allowing residents and people with legitimate business in, while keeping death squads and militia groups out.”
A similar effort by U.S. troops in south Baghdad was reported earlier this month by the Wall Street Journal.
“That community [in Adhamiyah] will be completely gated and protected,” Lt. Col. Thomas Rogers, 407th Brigade Support Battalion, was quoted as saying in the release. “It’s really for the security of all the people of Adhamiyah, not just one side or the other.”
According to military officials, the Adhamiyah wall should be completed in the next month.

"We don't think the removal of any of the wolves in the wild is appropriate," said Rob Edward, director of carnivore restoration at Santa Fe-based WildEarth Guardians. "The top priority should be the recovery of the species."
Fish and Wildlife spokeswoman Elizabeth Slown said she hasn't received a copy of the lawsuit yet, but added that cattle ranchers have a right to protect their livestock from wolves.
Mexican gray wolves disappeared from the American Southwest during the past century as federal eradication efforts swept them from the wild. In 1998, Fish and Wildlife reintroduced 11 of the wolves into the Blue Range Wolf Recovery Area.
The area includes more than 5 million acres that straddle the Arizona and New Mexico borders. It includes private land, towns, two national forests and an Arizona reservation.
When the recovery program started, agency officials figured the wolves would thrive and expected 102 wolves and 18 breeding pairs by 2006. However, 52 wolves remained in the recovery area as of the end of 2007, the lawsuit said.
"Certainly, the current population is neither viable nor self-sustaining as was the goal of the Recovery Plan," the groups said in the lawsuit.
Meanwhile, Tucson, Ariz.-based Center for Biological Diversity also sued the Fish and Wildlife, hoping to force the agency to develop a recovery plan and habitat for the endangered American jaguar.
The group said that construction of a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border will stop jaguars from re-colonizing their former habitats in the southern United States.
Slown said she has not yet seen the lawsuit and could not comment.
The Interior Department abandoned attempts to craft a recovery plan for the jaguar earlier this year because too few of the rare cats have been spotted along the Southwest region of New Mexico and Arizona to warrant such action.
Fish and Wildlife concluded that the jaguar's recovery depended on conservation efforts in Mexico and Central and South America.
Jaguars once roamed the southern United States from Monterey Bay, Calif., through the Appalachian Mountains. They disappeared from much of their range during the past century....

Letter to the Editor
This letter was submitted to the Editor of the Alamogordo Daily News today.
Recently I heard a first-hand account of the atrocities on our American border with Mexico. Why has it been ignored? For what conceivable reason does our government have to conceal this from us? Why no more than to sell our sovereignty!
Why would our own government sell our sovereignty? What could possibly give them pause to even listen to such treason? Could it be greed, power, corruption and perhaps fame? In years past, these same attributes would have caused a public hanging—and rightly so.
We’re supposed to be Americans—a loving and benevolent people full of compassion for the lesser nations and the weaker people of the world. There is nothing wrong with that. But, and you have to have a “but,” what about our own soul as America? Can we afford to sell it? The answer is a resounding “no.”
We used to be the most powerful nation on earth. We aren’t anymore. We have so-called leaders who have met in private, secluded from media and prying eyes to secretly sell our sovereignty right from under us.
Consider the agenda of our government in 2008. Why would Americans want to merge with Mexico and Canada? I can see a reason why we might want to “conquer” them, but to merge with them? No, yet it is being done right now, this minute. Americans don’t want the Amero as our new dollar and we don’t want open borders.
We want illegal aliens deported. (Immigration implies legality, therefore they are not immigrants.) If they come here legally, that’s entirely different. A large percentage of aliens come from Mexico, but they’re also coming through our porous borders from all over the world.
What diseases do they carry? What crimes have they committed? What new crimes do they intend? How will they live? Where will they live? The answer is they will live where they choose, taking from our treasury what is ours and maintaining power through their own languages.
We simply cannot afford them. We don’t want them here. Deport them—now.
We want an honest government with leaders who actually have integrity and qualities we have come to expect from Americans. Sadly, we have very little of this, maybe 5 in the whole country. What we have is a corrupt government full of self-serving demagogues (550 or so people) who have nothing in mind but to further their own coffers as they sell our sovereignty, but oh yes, they’ll possibly write you a form letter saying absolutely nothing in response to your query.
It’s time for a revolution. Our government is supposed to serve us, not the other way around. They clearly are not doing what they are highly paid to do. But, I ask, where are the leaders we need? They certainly are not the lot we’re faced with in this upcoming election! Where are real patriots who would become heroes to take back a generation and a nation? Just food for thought before it’s too late.

Bay Area anti-war activists are riding the wave and will join open-borders groups to harass both recruiters and ICE agents. Because it’s all about sticking it to The Man.
