NAVIGATING THIS BLOG

Posts (dated articles with a feature that allows for comments from readers) are below the front page.

Same with links to other websites, videos and blog archives. They are on the right side of the blog where opposite posts in a narrow column.

SCROLL DOWN if you want to research or get sources. Use the "labels" feature and simply click on the topic or person that interests you. An idiosyncracy of this format is that whenever you click on a label or older post, you will again see the front page. Nothing we can do about that.

The Oath of the President of the United States

US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The case could be made that Obama has violated the oath of the office of the Presidency of the United States in not closing the borders at the threat of a global pandemic of the Mexican flu, the violations of the U.S. Constitution in the CIFTA, and his refusal to clarify the circumstances of his birth. Think about it.

JESS CARY: RESPONSE TO "Lincoln County-Wolves in Ruidoso News"

One Response to “Lincoln County - Wolves in Ruidoso News”
Jess Carey, on February 4th, 2008 at 10:45 pm Said: Edit Comment
WOLF FACTS

It amazes me to what length the USFWS and pro-wolf non-government organizations will go to protect the Mexican Wolf. Their main objective is to give the public a false sense of security and to discredit any evidence contrary to their cause. I think all the counties in New Mexico should be aware of the fact that the Mexican wolves being released have major flaws that put our children and rural families in harms way. I have heard every excuse why the wolf was not at fault for causing damage from killing pets and livestock to causing psychological trauma (documented) to our children and rural families. I also cannot understand the position of Governor Richardson who has appointed people on our New Mexico Game commission and director that have taken the lead in wolf recovery. They have chosen to ignore the facts and present dangers to the people of Catron County and support the pro-wolf organizations without waver. Even Mr. Richardson knows our children have been damaged psychologically by wolf interaction’s, he still chooses to ignore these facts and will not inter vein to protect our children. You can bet this present scoping and NEPA proses will not have an outcome that will have any protective measures for our children and rural families. Most of the Mexican Wolves are habituated to humans and human use areas, they also lack wild wolf characteristics. Instead of fleeing when near a human, they seek them out because they lack an avoidance response and are unafraid, bold. When they expand the wolf recovery boundaries every county in the state will have wolves. You will see and live with the same type of damage that the people in Catron,Sierra, and Grant county have for ten years now. Some of you know what is coming, the rest of you will only find out when you personally have to live with the wolf. Some folks say “getting to see a wolf in the wild is the ultimate”, but the folks who live with the wolf have wolves on their front porch, have wolves killing their pets in their yards with small children present, live in constant fear for their children, pets and livestock, this is the other side of “ultimate”. Well, I can only tell you what I have seen personally and can only give you the facts attached to this comment. Read it and make up your own mind, you will see the future of things that are coming to your neighborhood. Thanks for reading…Jess Carey, Catron County Wolf Interaction Investigator..505-533-6668

Note: Durango Wolf AM973 is extremely habituated towards humans and human use areas.
Consideration for removal request by county commission to USFWS. AM973 at occupied homes
28 times. Also Durango pup at occupied homes 18 times.

Un-reported/no notice wolf incidents to county by USFWS: (2) Dogs attacked by wolf resulting in injury, (1) one of these dog attacks occurred with an 8 year old child next to the dog, investigated by USFWS, two dead calf remains removed from scene by IFT member, given to WS investigator at a later date.

Complaints received:

Notification to ranchers of dead livestock located by IFT, GPS wolf locations are not made in a timely manner, complainant stated that 15 days lapsed before notification and the livestock remains were to far gone to make any confirmation of predation by wolves.

Residents with small children complaining that the USFWS/IFT members are not notifying residents when wolves are at or near their homes. They fear for the safety of their children, pets, and animals.

Livestock owner complain that SOP 26 has only delayed the wolf location information as late as three days. When they check in the area where the wolf was and found dead livestock there are little remains left and the evidence is lost so there is no confirmation.
